Montenegro records 312,000 tourist nights in April, majority by foreign visitors

In April, Montenegro’s collective accommodation facilities recorded 117,800 tourist arrivals and 312,140 overnight stays, according to preliminary data from Monstat.

Foreign tourists accounted for 86.6% of overnight stays, while domestic tourists made up 13.4%.

By location, most overnight stays were in coastal areas (84.3%), followed by the capital city (10.6%), other locations (3.2%), and mountain destinations (1.9%).

Collective accommodation includes hotels, guesthouses, motels, tourist resorts, holiday centers, hostels, and camps, but excludes private accommodation such as rented houses, rooms, and tourist apartments.
