Around 449,000 tourists from Serbia visited Montenegro last year, marking an 11% increase compared to 2019, according to Milena Vujačić, a representative of the National Tourism Organization (NTO).
The NTO, together with the Ministry of Tourism, local tourism organizations, strategic partners, and the tourism industry, is participating in the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade, presenting Montenegro’s rich tourism offerings.
“Serbia is an extremely important market for Montenegro, and our participation in the International Tourism Fair in Belgrade is significant, considering that tourists from Serbia are the largest group of visitors to our country,” said Vujačić, as reported by Mediabiro.
Vujačić expressed satisfaction with the visitors’ reactions to the offerings at the Montenegrin stand.
“Visitors have shown great interest in our offerings, particularly the beaches, new hotels, and the northern part of the country. Additionally, fair attendees can take advantage of special discounts on certain packages and airline tickets for flights from Belgrade to Tivat and Belgrade to Podgorica,” Vujačić concluded.
