In July 2024, households in Montenegro consumed a total of 152,487,531 kWh of electricity. This represents a 39.20% increase from June’s consumption and an 11.38% rise compared to July 2023, according to Elektroprivreda Crne Gore (EPCG).
The average electricity bill for July, excluding unmeasured meters in non-permanent residences, was 43.77 euros.

- In Pljevlja, households had the lowest average bill, totaling 20.36 euros. In contrast, Ulcinj saw the highest average bill of 79.33 euros.
EPCG also reported that 55.1% of households will receive bills of up to 30 euros, 18.2% will be billed between 30 and 50 euros, 18.9% will have bills ranging from 50 to 100 euros, and 7.8% will face bills exceeding 100 euros.
Additionally, 177,734 households, or 44.9% of the total, received a discount on their electricity bills.
