Tivat – The beginning of this month at The Chedi Luštica Bay hotel is more crowded than last year, said the director of sales, Leonarda Dedić, adding that expectations for this year are high.

“In the remaining winter period, the trend of ‘last minute’ booking, which was widely represented last year, continues, so it is difficult to talk about exact expectations until April. The guests are mostly from Montenegro and the region, but there is also a smaller percentage from Europe,” Dedić said.

She said that, as far as spring and summer are concerned, there are already differences because this year the booking started very early. The hotel expected it to happen in February or March. However, reservations are already coming in, so the results are already about 30 percent better than last year, reports Radio Tivat.

“We hope that the trend will continue and that this year we will have a more realistic picture of the season much earlier.” What we expected, MICE tourism is very popular, so we have already confirmed a large number of groups for spring and autumn,” said Dedić.

She said that New Year’s Eve package deals at The Chedi Hotel, which included two nights with a gala dinner, were already sold out on December 1.

Dedić said that there was also interest in accommodation facilities from those guests who wanted to welcome the New Year in one of the restaurants on the promenade in the Luštica Bay complex or on the squares in Tivat and Kotor.

The guests were mostly from Montenegro and the region, and there were also some from Western Europe.

The whole of last year was very successful for The Chedi Hotel.
“We achieved excellent results in several areas, not only financially.” We have received 14 prestigious global awards. We achieved the highest result since the opening of the hotel – the recognition of our guests in the amount of 91.6 percent in the area of the quality of providing luxury services”, said Dedić.

She stated that, on the other hand, they are proud of the charity actions they had during the past year throughout Montenegro, they donated more money and goods than ever before.

“Most of all, we are proud of our team, which has around 140 members employed throughout the year and who have the opportunity to improve their skills in sister hotels in other countries during the winter months,” said Dedić.

She announced the events that will follow in the coming period, among other things, movie nights on Wednesdays with free parking in the hotel garage, popcorn and film projection, sports activities, training camps, running, e-biking, kayaking, hiking and sports tournaments.

“When it comes to our cuisine – we long for authenticity, that is, local ingredients and local flavors.” March will be in the sign of jaundice. We also have special offers for Valentine’s Day and March 8,” Dedić concluded.
