Starting next year, roaming for citizens of Montenegro will be free across European Union countries, announced Prime Minister Milojko Spajić.
“From 2026, free roaming to the EU for Montenegrin citizens – in Europe, just like at home!” Spajić wrote on social media platform X.
He noted that following SEPA – which enables faster, cheaper, and simpler cross-border payments – and the introduction of 14 new flight routes to European cities, 2026 will bring Montenegrins tangible benefits from the EU even before full membership.
“We are bringing people closer, integrating our market with Europe, and boosting economic growth,” he added.
