According to information provided to the Ministry of Tourism by Montenegro’s honorary consul in Israel, Nimrod Rinot, flights on the Tivat–Tel Aviv route will resume tomorrow, ensuring continued arrivals from this important market.
This was confirmed by representatives of Montenegro Airports during today’s meeting of the Coordination Body for the Preparation and Monitoring of Tourist Seasons, who noted that after a period of uncertainty due to current geopolitical events, tourist traffic from Israel is expected to stabilize and continue.
At the same meeting, the Ministry of Tourism requested detailed reports within five days from the Transport Administration and Regional Waterworks on the condition of the Adriatic Highway, along with proposals for measures to reduce traffic congestion and resolve issues caused by ongoing roadworks.
The Police Administration announced that 100 new police officers will be deployed to southern Montenegro during the summer season to strengthen traffic control and tourist safety. Additionally, 20 officers from the region will work alongside domestic security forces in coordination.
Minister of Tourism Simonida Kordić informed representatives of the Association of Travel Agencies that the public consultation on the Draft Tourism Law will be extended until the end of July. This aims to ensure a higher-quality legal framework through broader professional and public participation, giving the industry and all interested parties maximum opportunity to actively contribute to shaping better regulations.
