Representatives from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management will sign contracts with 67 farmers, potential beneficiaries of the IPARD III program.
The Ministry will organize a press conference at the Ramada Hotel in Podgorica, where contracts will be signed with potential users of the IPARD III program who applied for the first public call aimed at supporting investments in rural tourism development.
The ministry explained that the investments supported through submeasure 7.1 – Support for investments in rural tourism development within the IPARD III program focus on diversifying the agricultural sector and represent a unique development opportunity, especially in the northern part of Montenegro.
“This is one of the most attractive measures of the IPARD program, which has attracted significant public interest. The total value of eligible expenses ranges from ten thousand to two hundred thousand EUR,” the statement said.
Potential beneficiaries could apply for the construction, reconstruction, and equipment of complementary hospitality facilities for accommodation services, food and beverage preparation facilities, and the development of tourist infrastructure.
In addition to Minister of Agriculture Vladimir Joković, the EU Ambassador to Montenegro Johan Satler will also speak at the conference.
