Hotelier and businessman Čedomir Popović emphasized that price and quality must go hand in hand, especially in tourism. He noted that occupancy in his hotels this season was about ten percent higher than last year.

Popović highlighted ongoing issues with infrastructure and unjustifiably high prices, stressing that quality service cannot succeed without proper support from infrastructure and reasonable pricing.

He criticized road conditions during the tourist season, pointing out that travel from Herceg Novi to Budva can take three to three and a half hours, which he called unacceptable.

Popović also raised concerns about airport access, noting significant traffic delays on the 20-kilometer stretch from Herceg Novi to Tivat Airport, which he sees as a persistent problem.

He warned that while the tourism sector is strategically important for Montenegro, investments in infrastructure remain insufficient. Popović expressed skepticism about resolving these issues for the next season, doubting that the planned Tivat–Jaz Boulevard will fully solve congestion problems and suggesting the construction of a bypass as a solution.
