“The Ministry of Economic Development is fully committed to closing all the negotiation chapters within its mandate. I am proud to announce that my team and I have taken concrete steps in this area, particularly in Chapters 7, 10, and 20, where our dedicated work has been positively assessed in the European Commission’s Report on Montenegro for 2024,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister Đeljošaj.

Ambassador Satler reminded that the portfolio of Deputy Prime Minister Đeljošaj covers several important negotiation chapters, including those that Montenegro plans to close by the end of the year. He expressed the European Union’s readiness to provide full support for the upcoming economic reforms in line with the European agenda, with the goal of improving the standard of living in Montenegro to align more closely with that of EU citizens, even before full membership.
