As of the end of February, Montenegro had nearly 1.37 million mobile phone users, which is a decrease of 1.16% compared to January.
The number of users in February corresponds to a penetration rate of 219.26%, according to the report from the Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services (EKIP).
Compared to the same period last year, the number of users in February increased by 5.7%.
The share of postpaid users was 60.24%, while prepaid users accounted for 39.76%.
Of the total number of users, the largest share was held by M:tel with 568.87 thousand users or 41.6%, followed by Crnogorski Telekom with 471.83 thousand or 34.51%, and One with 326.65 thousand or 23.89%.
M:tel had 49.9% of all prepaid users, Crnogorski Telekom 26.94% and One 23.16%.
In February, Crnogorski Telekom had 39.5% of postpaid users, M:tel had 36.13% and One had 24.37%.
