The Tax Administration, according to its representatives, is systematically fighting against the informal economy in collaboration with relevant institutions to create a more favorable business environment that reduces the scope for illegal activities.

To improve revenue collection, priorities have been set by identifying taxpayers with the highest risk levels, increasing inspection oversight, enhancing business digitalization, and promoting tax compliance among citizens and businesses.

This comprehensive approach, according to the Tax Administration, will lead to an increase in the number of taxpayers who voluntarily fulfill their tax obligations in the long term.
