The current tourist season is progressing well and could outperform last year if the positive trend continues, said Nikola Pejović, president of the Hotel Association. Some hotels are fully booked until October or November, indicating a strong season ahead. Lazar Mijač, operator of Drobni Pijesak beach, noted that prices are acceptable when quality is offered and estimated this season to be on par with last year, with an expected increase in tourists from Scandinavia and Europe.

Pejović emphasized the importance of stable air traffic, especially from Israel, as Montenegrin tourism saw a 140% increase in Israeli visitors compared to last year. He hopes for continued growth from key regional and non-European markets. Both stressed that infrastructure and connectivity, such as better airport management and improved links to Italy, are crucial for further tourism development.

Regarding prices, tourists mostly complain about sunbed fees, though Mijač argued that tourists do not object to prices when good quality service is provided. The overall message is that quality service and hospitality are key to ensuring satisfied visitors who will return, supporting a successful tourism season for Montenegro.
