Monteput and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) have extended the deadline for submitting technical and financial bids for the design and construction of the second section of the Bar-Boljare highway, from Mateševo to Andrijevica, by ten days. The tender is now open until 30 October.
The extension was granted due to the complexity of the tender documentation and the numerous questions and requests submitted by potential bidders during the process. According to Monteput, the additional time ensures full transparency and equal access for all interested participants.
Monteput also noted that the extension allows bidders to better prepare their proposals, particularly regarding the procedures required to secure necessary guarantees and financial assurances, which involve additional coordination and administrative steps.
“The extension increases the competitiveness of the process and ensures that submitted bids fully meet the technical and financial requirements outlined in the tender documentation,” the statement concluded.
