More broadband connections at the end of July

The total number of broadband connections at the end of July, regardless of the technology used for access, was 201.09 thousand, 0.55 percent more than in June.

Compared to the same period last year, the number of broadband connections in July was 3.93 percent higher.

The number of users who accessed the Internet via the optical network (FTTx) amounted to 95.38 thousand, which is 877 more than in June.

In July, 54.32 thousand users accessed the Internet through the cable distribution system (KDS).

The number of VDSL connections was 31.25 thousand, and ADSL 17.68 thousand.

According to EKIP data, there were 2.13 thousand WiFi connections in July.
