Đurašković thanked the Board for its unwavering support, which was also evident from the previous Board, and for recognizing that the achieved results were the result of the collective efforts of most of the employees at Montenegro Post. He emphasized that this success shows that the Board, the Executive Director, and the majority of employees share a common vision for the company’s development and progress.

He expressed gratitude to the employees for their hard work and dedication, which contributed to achieving a result worth respect. “We recognized this through salary increases, additional raises through the ‘Europe Now 2’ program, and directing savings for the employer to the employees, including the distribution of financial gifts for the New Year’s holidays, as well as other ways to improve the position of employees,” Đurašković stated.

He also acknowledged the challenges highlighted in the independent auditor’s report, which stem from issues inherited from the company’s restructuring in 2011. These issues, particularly regarding the company’s real estate assets, were not adequately recorded in the property registry at the time of restructuring.

Đurašković explained that all necessary legal actions have been taken regarding the corrections in the property registry, including initiating a lawsuit to determine property ownership in court. He emphasized that these issues are inherited and that the current management is not responsible for them.

Looking ahead, Đurašković expressed confidence that this year will be focused on investments and development, as demonstrated by the public procurement plan. He expects that this will create conditions for further growth, especially in commercial services.

He concluded that Montenegro Post, under this management, is firmly committed to development, as evidenced by the results achieved, and will continue striving to improve and align with modern postal administrations in the European Union (EU).
