Tripković Marković said that the fair in London is the most important fair manifestation for the world tourism industry, and it is especially important for Montenegro, bearing in mind that it is a market of priority importance for the Montenegrin destination, which is also indicated by the great interest of the Montenegrin tourism industry in the performance at that fair.

“I am happy that Montenegro has been recognized by British agents and influential media as a destination on the rise, judging by the noticeably greater interest. We are behind intensive promotional activities on the Great Britain market, which resulted in an improved image and double-digit growth rates of tourist traffic from this market,” said Tripković Marković.

According to Tripković Marković, the growth has also been recognized by the European Travel Commission, which in its latest quarterly report states that Montenegro ranks second among European countries in terms of growth in the number of tourists from the British market compared to 2019.
