The construction of energy facilities for the production of electricity from renewable sources has gained momentum in Montenegro, and two more solar power plants will be built in Cetinje and Nikšić.

The company Premonte from Podgorica is planning to build a solar power plant on several cadastral plots in KO Lastva in Cetinje. The total area of ​​the site where the power plant is planned is approximately 101 hectares.

According to the analyzes previously carried out by the investor, it was determined that the installed capacity of the future solar power plant is up to 100 MW.

A Swiss investment is coming to Nikšić, so the company SP2 Electric GMBH from Rumlang plans to build a solar power plant with an installed capacity of 90 MW.

The panels will be spread over several cadastral plots in KO Tupan, on the territory of Nikšić municipality.
