Regarding the transfer of numbers between mobile networks in the first three months of the year, out of 2.55 thousand transferred numbers, the most were transferred to M:tel (1.05 thousand), followed by Crnogorski Telekom (802), and One (363).

“The most users switched from One’s mobile network, with 1.26 thousand, followed by Crnogorski Telekom with 653, and the least from M:tel with 633 numbers,” EKIP added.

The number portability service has been available since December 1, 2011. By March 31 of this year, a total of 107.98 thousand numbers had been transferred, including 18.12 thousand in fixed networks and 89.86 thousand in mobile networks.

“The highest number of numbers was transferred to M:tel’s fixed network, 11.22 thousand, followed by Telemach with 4.19 thousand, One with 2.3 thousand, Crnogorski Telekom with 400, and Orion with three numbers,” EKIP noted.

The most transfers out of the fixed network occurred from Crnogorski Telekom, with 17.15 thousand numbers, followed by M:tel with 504, Telemach with 429, and One with 34 numbers.

In mobile networks, out of the 89.86 thousand transferred numbers, the most were transferred to M:tel (45.04 thousand), followed by Crnogorski Telekom (27 thousand), and One (17.8 thousand).

The largest number of users left One’s network, with 45.5 thousand, followed by Crnogorski Telekom with 29.36 thousand, and the least from M:tel with 14.99 thousand.

Number portability allows subscribers to retain their phone number when changing operators. Numbers can be transferred from one fixed network to another, or from one mobile network to another.

The transfer process takes up to three business days. A subscriber wishing to transfer their number submits a request to the receiving operator, which is considered a request to terminate the contract with the current operator.

A subscriber can transfer their number again after three months from the last transfer. If a transfer request is denied, the subscriber can file a complaint with EKIP.

“EKIP has not received any complaints regarding number portability in the first three months of this year,” EKIP concluded.
