In October, the average electricity bill for households in Montenegro, excluding meters in properties that are not permanently inhabited, amounted to €27.90.
Households in Mojkovac recorded the lowest average consumption, amounting to €21.84, while the highest average consumption was observed in Nikšić, where households spent an average of €32.53 on electricity, according to the statement from the Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG).
The company also reported that 68.1% of households received bills under €30, 17.8% received bills between €30 and €50, 11.7% received bills ranging from €50 to €100, and 2.4% of customers received bills over €100.
Furthermore, 213,080 households, or 53.51% of all consumers, received discounts on their bills.
In October, households consumed 100.19 million kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity, which is 5.85% less compared to September, but 6.49% more than in October of the previous year.
