The signing was also attended by the Minister of Public Administration Maraš Dukaj.

Let us remind you that on November 16, 2022, the representatives of Montenegro, France and Slovenia signed the Letter of Intent to establish the Center for Cyber Capacities of the Western Balkans (WB3C) for the countries of the Western Balkans (WB6), with headquarters in Podgorica.

It is envisaged that the Center for Cyber-Capacities will have the legal status of an international organization, which will have three founders, while the other countries will have the status of members.

WB3C aims to contribute to a safer and more stable cyberspace of the Western Balkans, and in this sense it should be considered complementary with other cyber programs and capacity building projects in the region and beyond.

In this sense, coordination and synergy of various initiatives is an important component of the project, in order to keep it relevant and adapt to the needs of the Western Balkan countries in this area.

– WB3C is designed as a regional center in which other countries of the region can participate and become members. Apart from the countries of the region, the Center will be open for cooperation with other interested countries, regional organizations and partners who want to become part of the Center as full members, active participants or donors – it was clarified.
