President Jakov Milatović underscored the critical importance of enhancing transportation infrastructure for Montenegro’s economic growth.
After a meeting of the Senate of the Capital, Milatović, accompanied by Cetinje Mayor Nikola Đurašković and Traffic Administration Director Radomir Vuksanović, toured the construction site of the new road linking Cetinje to Čev.
He described the newly built road section as an excellent project and a chance for Montenegro to acknowledge its historical ties to the Katun region, which has significantly impacted the nation’s history.
Milatović emphasized that investing in road modernization is key to improving connectivity and enhancing the quality of life for all citizens.
“Roads are essential for revitalizing our villages and fostering connections between agriculture and tourism. This roadway exemplifies the direction we should take moving forward,” he stated.
He commended the efforts of both the Traffic Administration and the Capital for their dedication to this project, which will benefit the residents of Cetinje, the local economy, and the broader development of the area.
