Reconstruction of the Bioča – Petnjica road has begun, announced Samir Agović, President of Petnjica Municipality.
This road is crucial for the region’s future development, as it will enable better use of agricultural and tourism potentials and create opportunities for new production facilities.
The project, valued at approximately €11.7 million for about 9 km of road, is set to be completed within 18 months by the renowned company BEMAX.
Local authorities, with support from neighboring municipalities and the Montenegrin government, have persistently advocated for this project, which is expected to become a key transit route connecting Petnjica to Tutin and linking the Pešter plateau with major highways.
Agović thanked all parties involved and called for patience from residents during construction, emphasizing the project’s importance for the region’s dynamic growth and improved connectivity.
