An extraordinary offer of 2.7 million EUR was made for the seasonal lease of Coco Beach on Slovenska Beach in Budva, setting a new record, as confirmed by participants in the tender.

The opening of bids was conducted on Monday for 89 Budva beaches, organized across three offices, making it physically impossible for the media to follow all the offers.

After Vijesti reported that the Public Enterprise Morsko Dobro had called the Special State Prosecutor’s Office (SDT) and referred the matter to the Police Directorate to investigate the source of funds for the multi-million euro offers on certain beaches, it was confirmed that Coco Beach would also be under scrutiny.

This is the highest offer ever made in the history of Morsko Dobro, and an investigation will determine if it is a phantom bid aimed at allowing former lessees to regain control of the lease, as Vijesti reported.
