Slight growth in construction activity compared to last year, decline from previous quarter

The value of completed construction works in Montenegro during the first quarter of this year increased by 1.5% compared to the same period last year, according to data from MONSTAT.

However, when compared to the fourth quarter of the previous year, the value of construction works decreased by 12%.

The number of effective hours worked on construction sites in the first quarter rose by 0.7% year-over-year, but fell by 2.8% compared to the previous quarter.
