Since the beginning of the year, the Sozina Tunnel has served 676,190 vehicles.
According to data from Monteput, which manages the tunnel, 3.78 million vehicles passed through it last year. In 2023, 3.52 million vehicles used the tunnel, and in 2022, the number was 3.07 million.

The Sozina Tunnel was opened in July 2005. Its construction cost around 74 million EUR, with 50 million EUR provided by Montenegro and 24 million EUR funded by a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
The Sozina Tunnel is 4.19 kilometers long and connects the coastal region with the central part of Montenegro.
