Since the beginning of this year, the Sozina Tunnel has served 245,830 vehicles.
According to data from the Monteput website, which manages the tunnel, a total of 3.78 million vehicles passed through the tunnel last year.

In 2023, 3.52 million vehicles used the tunnel, while in 2022, the number was 3.07 million.
The Sozina Tunnel opened in July 2005. Its construction cost around 74 million EUR, of which 50 million was provided by Montenegro, and 24 million was secured through a loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
