Ten bids have been submitted for the tender to design and construct the second section of the Mateševo-Andrijevica highway, according to sources familiar with the process.
The tender was announced on February 28 via the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) website and was originally set to close on April 29, but the deadline was extended to May 14 to allow interested parties more time to submit documentation.
The selection of the contractor is expected by mid-year. The tender follows EBRD procedures to ensure transparency, competitiveness, and accountability throughout the process.
After the submission deadline, a detailed evaluation phase will begin to select the most favorable and qualified bidder for this major infrastructure project.
