The average price per square meter of a newly built apartment in Montenegro in the third quarter of 2023 was 1,643 euros, which is an increase of 324 euros compared to the same period last year, Monstat data show.
In Podgorica, the average price per square meter in new construction was 1,700 euros in the third quarter of this year, which is 238 euros more than in the third quarter of 2022.
In the coastal region, the average price per square meter in Montenegro was 1,584 euros, in the central region 662 euros, while in the northern region the average price per square meter of a newly built apartment was 1,288 euros.
In Montenegro, there is also a price per square meter for solidary housing construction, and it includes the sale of apartments by housing cooperatives and organizations in cooperation with local self-governments (municipalities) or other institutions on favorable terms.
Construction is being done for the needs of Montenegrin state institutions, organizations and companies, i.e. the employees of those institutions in all municipalities of Montenegro.
Thus, the price per square meter in new construction in the third quarter of this year, for solidary residential construction in Montenegro, was 589 euros.
For the central region, the price according to the same criteria was the same.
