Hotel Castellastva
Hotel Castellastva was opened on May 17, 1973 as a hotel of high B category, with a capacity of 354 beds. The construction of this building cost 35 million dinars, and the designer of the hotel was architect Milan Popović from Titograd. With the opening of Hotel Castellastva, a new cycle of tourist development begins in Petrovac, which has turned from a small fishing village into a tourist destination.
The hotel was completely reconstructed in 2014 with new expanded capacities of 185 accommodation units, which were combined into one hotel unit. In order to preserve the authenticity and touristic tradition of the hotel, the renowned architect Amir Vuk Zec was hired. The hotel is dominated by paštrov elements, and the accommodation facilities are named after old Petrovac names: Mare, Kate, Eva, Jana and Ana.
Hotel Castellastva is a synonym for a secluded vacation in the natural Mediterranean greenery. Categorized with 4 stars, the hotel offers complete facilities for a pleasant and unique stay – pleasant rooms, outdoor pool, mini wellness and hotel beach. We must not forget the traditional hospitality of the staff, as well as the fact that guests will enjoy culinary specialties, both domestic and international cuisine.
Palace Hotel
On the eve of the May Day holidays, on April 26, 1983, the new Palas hotel was opened in Petrovac. Built on the site of the original smaller Palace Hotel, which was destroyed in the 1979 earthquake, the Palace Hotel was built on the basis of pooling the work and funds of Montenegrin and Slovenian organizations, and as such was a concrete form of realizing the economic stabilization program in the then SFRY.
The construction of the hotel with a capacity of 360 beds cost 688 million dinars, and the responsible designer was the architect Vlado Plamenac. The hotel was ranked in the ten best hotels in the survey of the famous tourist agency Yugotours for years.
After a complete renovation in 2011, the Palas hotel was categorized as a 4-star hotel with a total capacity of 171 accommodation units.
Palas is located in the most beautiful place in Petrovac, in the hinterland of the city beach, surrounded by olive groves and different trees, so it is ideal for a vacation. Although it has five floors, it looks more like a large family house facing the sun and the sea, always open to travelers and visitors.
The offer of today’s Palas hotel is diverse – in addition to comfortable rooms with a magical view of the sea, there is a modernly equipped wellness & spa center with an indoor and outdoor pool, a gastronomic offer with national and international cuisine.
Hotel Palas is the winner of numerous international and European awards, among which are the awards of tour operators Prodintur and Saga Holidays, as well as the prestigious award “World Luxury Hotel Awards”, which classified this hotel as one of the top luxury destinations for weddings.
