The first hotels on the ski slopes in Kolašin, the opening of which is announced for the winter season 2023/24 and for the next three years, are part of the ambitious development plan for the Bjelasica area, which is realized within the year-round mountain resort Kolašin Valleys, the first hotel-residential complex on the ski slopes in Montenegro.
– Our vision includes positioning Kolašin Valleys as a leading mountain resort in Southeast Europe, which offers exceptional services and experiences and not only in winter – said Marko Gvozdenović, representative of Kolašin Valleys at the presentation of that mountain resort held in Tivat.
The opening of four hotel facilities with 317 units is planned by the end of next year, and in the next three years, an additional six facilities, which will give the hotels more than 700 accommodation units. The three-year plan includes the development of at least 30 exclusive mountain chalets, as well as numerous other facilities and exclusive bars, restaurants, bars and wellness areas and facilities.
– Our goal is to create an exceptional mountain resort that stands out in the region and attracts visitors throughout the year with a wide range of hotel facilities and services. We plan to establish an exceptional investment opportunity through an attractive rental program and return on investment, as well as a top destination, which offers unsurpassed experiences for those looking for a home for vacation and adventure in the heart of Montenegro – added Gvozdenović.
Kolašin Valleys includes two connected but distinct ski villages: 1450 Nest and K16 Peak. Both are ski-in/ski-out destinations.
Swissôtel resort Kolašin will be opened in the K16 Peak settlement in the winter season of 2023/24, as the first mountain hotel of that brand in the Balkans. The hotel complex will offer 201 modern and comfortable accommodation units for fans of the ski-in/ski-out concept and activities on the snow, as well as a summer vacation on the mountain, with hiking, staying in nature and other summer mountain attractions. Guests will be able to enjoy sophisticated restaurants, an aperitif bar, a SPA center, use the ski room services and other amenities
By opening a hotel in Kolašin Valleys, Accor, the world’s leading hospitality group based in France, is expanding its portfolio of premium brands, including Swissôtel, in Southeastern Europe.
