Tivat sees 7% decline in tourism, Russian tourists make up the largest share

According to data from the Tourist Organization of Tivat, the city is currently hosting 1,520 tourists, which is a 7% decrease compared to last year.

Of the total number of visitors, 45 are domestic tourists, and 1,480 are foreign tourists, as reported by Radio Tivat.

Hotels have accommodated 167 tourists, including 44 locals and 123 foreigners. For foreign guests, private accommodation remains the most popular option, with 1,350 foreigners choosing this type of lodging, compared to just one domestic guest.

In terms of nationality, the largest group of tourists comes from Russia, accounting for 31% of the total number of visitors. Other notable groups include tourists from Serbia, Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Azerbaijan. A smaller number of visitors come from Ukraine, the United Kingdom, Croatia and Albania.
