In Montenegro, in January, there were 29.5 thousand arrivals and 69.58 thousand overnight stays in collective accommodation, according to preliminary data from Monstat.
“Out of the total number of overnight stays in collective accommodation, 71.9% were made by foreign tourists, and 28.1% by domestic tourists,” the statement said.
In the breakdown of overnight stays by types of tourist places in January, the highest number of overnight stays was recorded in coastal places at 57.6%, the capital city at 21.3%, mountainous places at 14.3%, and other places at 6.8%.
Collective accommodation facilities include hotels, guesthouses, motels, tourist resorts, resorts, hostels, and campsites, excluding individual, so-called private accommodation – accommodation in houses and rooms for rent, as well as in tourist apartments.
