Turkish General Aviation Center is interested in Montenegro

The Turkish company General Aviation Center (GAC) is considering the possibility of opening a maintenance service for civil and military aircraft for the entire region in Montenegro.

This was announced during a meeting between the head of the Ministry of Defense and the Minister of the Interior, Filipa Adžić, with the owner of the Turkish company General Aviation Center (GAC), Ali Suljak.

As reported by the Ministry of Defense, the meeting discussed the possibility of establishing cooperation in the field of aircraft maintenance of the Army of Montenegro.

Adžić said that he is satisfied with the initiatives that bring benefits for our Army and the country, especially when they open opportunities for employment of the local population.

Suljak pointed out that Montenegro has excellent predispositions for the establishment of an aircraft maintenance service, and that he believes that a strong cooperation with the Ministry of Defense of our country will be established, to the mutual satisfaction.

The interlocutors discussed options for opening a service for the maintenance of civil and military aircraft, which would be open both for aircraft from Montenegro and for those from the region – the statement of the Ministry of Defense states. He was also presented with the capacities of the Knjaz Danilo military airport.
