Unemployment decreased

At the end of August, there were 38,100 unemployed in Montenegro, 1.6 percent less than in July, according to data from the Employment Service (ZZZ).

According to the ZZZ monthly report, the unemployment rate fell from 16.69 percent to 16.43 percent.

The highest rate, 32.7 percent, was recorded in July 2000, while the lowest was in August 2009, 10.1 percent.

Since the beginning of the year, the institute has registered 11.28 thousand new employees.
