The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Urbanism, and State Property (MDUP) clarified that there are no age restrictions for applicants to the “Velje Brdo” project, allowing citizens of all ages to apply. The requirement to provide a personal identification number is solely for record-keeping and statistical purposes.

So far, 2,896 applications have been received from citizens aged 40 and above. The Ministry emphasized that the project’s primary mission is to support the most vulnerable groups, including the elderly, people with disabilities, and socially disadvantaged individuals. The process will follow principles of fairness, transparency, and inclusivity.
