Montenegro’s government cut the excise duty on eurodiesel by 25% on 2 November, lowering its maximum retail price by one cent to 1.97 euros per litre from 3 to 9 November 2026, the Ministry of Energy and Mining said. The government decision concerns excise on gas oils.
At the new rate, 50 litres will cost 98.50 euros, 50 cents less than at the previous price, the ministry said. The revised prices apply for one week.
Prices for other fuels are unchanged: Eurosuper 98 will cost 1.85 euros per litre, Eurosuper 95 will cost 1.81 euros per litre, and heating oil will remain at 2.02 euros per litre. The three unchanged prices apply over the same period.
The ministry said the maximum retail prices were calculated under the Regulation on the Method of Calculating the Maximum Retail Price of Certain Petroleum Products, published in the Official Gazette of Montenegro, number 40/26. The next price calculation is scheduled for 9 November 2026; prices set then will apply from 10 November.
