The Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG) published lists of blocked businesses and entrepreneurs as at 31 October 2026, including 1.7 thousand registered active entities. Its lists also cover 16.44 thousand registered inactive entities or those in interruption, and 3.23 thousand entities not recorded in the Central Register of Business Entities (CRPS).
The CBCG lists identify companies and entrepreneurs, their registration numbers, the amounts blocking their accounts and the number of days each block has continued uninterrupted. The information covers registered active and inactive entities, those in interruption, and entities absent from the CRPS.
Under the Law on Payment Transactions, the central bank must publish information on compulsory debt collection proceedings. It releases the data once a month, on the first working day after the month ends, using a snapshot from the month’s final day.
Names are listed alphabetically on the CBCG website, alongside the other information. The bank says alphabetical ordering is intended to ensure full impartiality.
