Crnogorski Telekom has solidified its position as the leading telecommunications provider in Montenegro, demonstrating consistent growth in 2025 across various financial metrics, network development, and customer satisfaction. This marks the fifth consecutive year of positive performance for the company, achieving its 19th consecutive quarter of profitability, driven by strategic investments in digital and network infrastructure.
The company’s financial results indicate a 3.4 percent increase in revenues compared to 2024, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 5 percent. This growth reflects enhanced operational efficiency and the company’s ability to create sustainable value. Net profit also saw a significant rise, increasing from €5.8 million in 2024 to €7.7 million in 2025, underscoring a robust financial foundation that supports ongoing development initiatives.
Subscriber growth has been notable across key segments, with a 10 percent year-on-year increase in optical network users. The broadband and mobile internet customer bases also expanded, aided by an improved network footprint. The company extended its fixed-network reach to approximately 9,000 additional households, bringing total fiber availability to around 152,000 households. Meanwhile, the mobile segment continues to thrive, particularly with the uptake of 5G services.
High levels of customer satisfaction were reported, with Crnogorski Telekom achieving a leading TRI*M index in the retail segment during the fourth quarter. The company maintained its top position across both consumer and business service lines, bolstered by an average rating of 4.9 on Trustpilot, indicating strong brand trust among users of its digital and connectivity offerings.
Investment efforts have played a crucial role in driving growth, with approximately €18 million allocated in 2025 for modernizing network infrastructure, enhancing digital services, and improving user experiences. These investments facilitated the expansion of one of the country’s most extensive 5G networks and next-generation optical technologies capable of delivering download speeds up to 2 Gbps, aligning with standards seen in leading European markets.
