The work covered the carriageway, pavements, public lighting and a tree-lined area, as well as replacing the water supply network and building stormwater drainage. Sun invest was the contractor, while the Nikšić Water Supply and Sewerage Company carried out work on the hydrotechnical installations, Boris Striković, secretary of the Secretariat for Investments and Projects, said.

Work is planned to continue next year on Druge Dalmatinske Brigade Street, which connects to Baja Pivljanina Street. Kovačević said the adjoining street would be completed, giving that part of the city modern road infrastructure.
