Reviving Ada Bojana: New investments and developments to restore its glory

Supported byOwner's Engineer banner

Ada Bojana, once a popular destination mostly for international visitors, has been neglected, particularly in the last 15 years. Efforts are now underway to restore its former charm through a new investment plan in three phases, with the first phase requiring five million euros.

The plan includes the construction of a new beach bar, costing around 120-130 thousand euros, along with new sports facilities. Four new courts will be added: two clay tennis courts and two multifunctional courts. Additionally, some existing infrastructure will be renovated, and steps are being taken to address the issue of erosion, with financial support of 89,000 euros from the Ministry of Spatial Planning.

There are also plans to build sand dunes to protect the area from weather conditions, as well as strategies to extend the tourist season by offering lower prices and organizing more festivals.

This summer, a 30% increase in visitors is expected at Ada Bojana.
