Wizz Air, a low-cost airline, will commence a new flight service connecting Bratislava, Slovakia, to Podgorica, Montenegro, starting on May 21, 2026. According to reports from the Montenegrin national broadcaster, this service will operate three times weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays.
The launch of these flights coincides with the 20th anniversary of Montenegro’s independence, aiming to enhance connectivity between the two capitals as tourist traffic is anticipated to increase ahead of the summer season. Officials noted that the new route will facilitate travel between Slovakia and Montenegro, potentially boosting both tourism and business travel.
