In November, 47,400 arrivals and 123,460 overnight stays of tourists in collective accommodation were realized in Montenegro, according to Monstat’s preliminary data.
“Out of the total number of overnight stays in collective accommodation, 78.3 percent were made by foreigners, and 21.7 percent by domestic tourists,” it is stated in the press release, reports Mina.
In the structure of overnight stays by type of tourist places in November, the most overnight stays were achieved in coastal towns 76.2 percent, the capital 17.7 percent, other towns 3.5 percent and mountain towns 2.7 percent.
Collective accommodation facilities include hotels, boarding houses, motels, tourist settlements, resorts, hostels and camps and do not include individual, so-called private accommodation – accommodation in houses and rooms for rent, as well as in tourist apartments, local media says.
