Construction sector sees 1.2% growth in Q3, work hours increase by 2.7%

The value of construction works in the third quarter increased by 1.2% compared to the same period last year, according to data from Monstat.

The value of completed construction works in Q3 was also 0.6% higher than in the second quarter.

“Effective hours worked on construction sites in the third quarter were 2.7% higher than in the same period last year,” the statement said.

Effective hours worked were also up by 0.2% compared to the second quarter.
