For a year in a row, in the monthly reports published by the European Travel Commission (ETC), Montenegro is among the TOP 5 best-rated tourist destinations in Europe.
The reports of the European Travel Commission are based on the analysis of millions of reviews posted by visitors on online platforms specialized in travel, and include evaluations in four areas: overall experience of the destination, safety, sustainability, and value for money.

Also, according to data from the European Travel Commission on the increase in the average occupancy rate of hotel capacities and revenue per room (ADR) in November 2022 compared to the same period in 2019, all European countries recorded an increase of over 40%, while in Montenegro, the increase in ADR was as much as 169%, which places it in second place among European countries with the highest growth rate of ADR.
– Although the war in Ukraine, problems in air traffic and high inflation have had a negative impact on travel planning, the monthly surveys of the European Travel Commission show that European destinations had a successful summer season and that air traffic in Europe during August was at the level of 89% compared to 2019 – says the NTO announcement.
