Kolašin, the main skiing and mountainous area in Montenegro, is easily accessible from the country and neighboring states, just a 75-minute drive from Podgorica and the airport via an impressive, recently opened highway – said representatives from the hotel group.

David Jenkins, Vice President of Business Development for Eastern Europe at Radisson Hotel Group, stated that they are immensely proud to enter Montenegro, a growing market in regional tourism that is fully complementary to their proactive business expansion plans in coastal and urban centers.

The opening of the mountain resort in the Kolašin area is in line with our strategy of regional growth and further strengthens our position in the Balkans, where we currently have 19 hotels with 3,500 rooms in operation and under development,” stated Jenkins.

Ratko Radonjić, CEO of Bjelasica 1450, said that the partnership with Radisson Hotel Group is an absolute pleasure for them and demonstrates their commitment to the highest standards in the construction industry.

“We are proud to expand our business towards the peaks of Bjelasica and complement it with this high-category hotel. We are confident that Kolašin will become an even more attractive destination and attract visitors from around the world, who will receive services of the highest hospitality standards,” announced Radonjić.

The founder of Bjelasica 1450 is the construction company Zetagradnja from Podgorica, which has been operating in the Montenegrin market for a quarter of a century and has expanded its business to the markets of EU countries.

The hotel, as announced, will offer a wide range of amenities, including options for service in the lobby bar, an all-day and specialty restaurant, all featuring an outdoor terrace. The wellness area includes an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as a fitness center with a dedicated yoga space. In addition, the meeting and event spaces cover an area of 385 square meters and include the main hall, meeting rooms, and foyers.

In the resort’s surroundings, several exciting attractions can be found, such as Biogradsko Lake, the Temple of the Nativity of Christ in Mojkovac, monasteries, the Partisan Monument Breza, the Tara Canyon, Kolašin, botanical gardens, as well as cable car rides.
