Montenegro’s industrial output rose 31.6% year on year in the third quarter but fell 2.1% from the second quarter, the Statistical Office of Montenegro (Monstat) reported.
Compared with the third quarter of last year, mining and quarrying output increased 95.8%, while electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply rose 170.9%. Manufacturing edged up 0.6%. Annual sector rates compare with the same quarter a year earlier.

Quarter on quarter, mining and quarrying advanced 13.2%, and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply gained 5.9%. Manufacturing fell 7.9%, while total industrial output declined 2.1%. These quarterly rates compare the third quarter with the second quarter.
