Turnover across the six groups was 20.6% higher than in the second quarter. The reporting period ran from July to September, and annual comparisons are against the same quarter of 2025.

Turnover rose in five of the six groups compared with the third quarter of 2025; information and communications was the only category to contract. Accommodation and food services also recorded an 81.7% quarterly increase and accounted for 21.5% of total turnover among the covered activities.

Information and communications turnover fell 0.3% year on year and made up 4.7% of the total. The group covers telecommunications, programming, publishing, broadcasting and other information activities.

MONSTAT calculates the indices at current prices, so they measure nominal changes in turnover value and may reflect both price changes and changes in the volume of services provided. The turnover figures exclude value-added tax (VAT), and the data are preliminary. The survey is based on VAT returns available as of 22 October 2026.
