Kotor-based Sunny Palace is waiting for Montenegro’s government to approve a revised plan for a new hotel on the former Galeb site in Ulcinj. The proposal cuts the building from 15 to 11 storeys, while Ulcinj Municipality has challenged its legal and planning compliance.

Norwegian Cruise Line has opened reservations for two Norwegian Aura cruises calling at Bar in May 2027. Royal Caribbean plans selected Explorer of the Seas cruises to call at Kotor during the May-October 2028 season.
