“The implementation directly depends on the airlines. According to announcements, new routes to Podgorica will include Munich, Radom, Kosice, Pardubice, and Ostrava, while in Tivat, Bristol, Birmingham, and Izmir will be added,” stated the release.

Regarding low-cost carrier flights, ACG mentioned that Wizz Air will be reinstating routes to Podgorica for London Gatwick, Vienna, Warsaw, and Katowice, while maintaining flights to Milan, Dortmund, Memmingen, and Budapest.

Ryanair, according to preliminary announcements, will reintroduce routes to Podgorica for Brussels, Manchester, Zagreb, and Wroclaw starting in early April, and will continue operations to Berlin, London Stansted, Gdansk, and Krakow.

“Air Montenegro, the national airline, will continue to connect Podgorica with Rome,” ACG stated.

They also highlighted that Pegasus Airlines opened routes from Podgorica to Ankara and Podgorica to Izmir in February.
